You could try Vitamin E cream - you can get it easily from Boots or the Body Shop. It does something to your skin, makes it more healthy, I suppose, and really reduces the appearance of scars.

With Clearasil, in my experience you just have to be patient - your skin will take some time to get used to the chemicals, but after a while it really does help. You can also get this thing from Boots called "Spot Stick", which helps the appearance of spots.

ummm go to the doctor and have him prescibe roaccutane, it does nothing for scars i dont think, but it totally stops pimples and gets rid of them.

as for scars, this cream is very good apparently. mederma

where r the scars from? acne scars? hm i agree with the vit e, you can buy capsules of it to and then break them open and put it directly on to them. then use vit e creams and moisturise! daily cleaning and moisturising/toning helps with spots even if u r a guy. oo i may try some of the stuff above next time i have any, one of my friends suffers badly with spots and said there's different course of tablets your doctor can prescibe-my cousin did the same thing, so maybe see your gp. if the scar is from an accident i'm not sure, i have a scar on my face from an accident when i was little, it could be improved but i'm not really bothered as it's been there since i could reach to look in the mirror. but you can have dermabrasion, and keloids can b improved surgically, not sure about hypertonic ones tho-see your doc! good luck =)

i guess there isn't a lot you can do about the spots then .. just wash well twice daily .. id recommend something from the Garnier or Neutrogena range.. as for the scars there isn't a lot you can really do,esp if theyre very slight.. if there's still any colour *red or purple* about them, try not to worry as that will fade with time *i had acne so i know what im rambling about lol*.. but if they bother u THAT much microdermabrasion is an option....... but its a little radical for a few scars. I have a few but they could be a lot worse and are barely seen by anyone else except for myself, so i think u are probably just seeing them as worse..when no one else really notices. try not to let it bother you for now. and perhaps try Garnier pure A moisturiser.. or any other form of Vit A cream.. very good for skin. if that fails.. talk to your doctor! hope some of this helped lol x

FadeOut is quite good at fading marks although I am tempted to try this Mederma cream. My scars are gradually going although whatever you use it still takes time.

I have a couple of scars on my face from accidents when I was little. I have tried a few different things - FadeOut seemed to work a bit at first but it didn't really make them look noticably better.

I then tried and am still using Palmer's Cocoa Butter Scar Serum, which I find works well. Also, it lasts ages and isn't expensive. Theres a few different products in the range too e.g. moisturisers. I know the scars aren't going to go but they do look less noticable and aren't as shiny as they were before. Before because they were shiny they were clearly visible even through make-up and stood out a lot every time it was sunny.

Hope you find something that works for you

Scars are meant to be exciting and character building. If you have scars from scatching spots or w/e try and make it more interesting. I suggest the "I got hit with shrapnel whilst taking on 3 harrier jump jets using only a length of garden hose, a fork and a bucket of sand" story.

Buy an aloe vera plant and cut the leaves open and use the gooey stuff inside. It really works!

you cud use the garnier pure A day and night cream.. they lighten scars and clear imperfections... or u cud use the garnier peel kit which also lighten scars (very good).

Yeah one thing seems to work on one person and not the other, for example the Palmer Cocoa Butter Scar Serum didn't really work just made my skin look greasy.
