Its random and only slightly interesting but -what brand of stationary/pens do you guys use and what are your favorites? Has anyone one seen those awesome $5 (USD) Japanese import mechanical penicils that give lead when you shake them? I nicked one of a lab table in my old school, used all the lead, and now I can't figure out how to reload it.

I use Portable Handheld Communications Inscibers under the brand Pilot.my personal faves. Black and blue ink gels. I'd die without them.

What do people think of those pens with fragrant inks? My favourite is the Cola flavour smell.

I only know of markers with a fragrance and my favorite is the berry one. Sharpies smell nice too + they make you high

I like the pilot gel pens too, but my favorite would have to be the classic USA papermate

The fragrant/smelly pens make me feel sick.

The only I've encountered that doesn't have that effect was the Blueberry one.

I had a Montblanc that I found at work (4* hotel). It was lush.

Now I use a Parker Vector fountain, blue ink, translucent "Bordeaux" (read wine red) case. It's the only fountain I can use which doesn't smudge.

You do know you're not meant to eat them?

Parker Vector fountain pen, black ink.

I do carry emergency black Bic biros too, for things like crosswords and ink cartridge shortages, but it's usually the fountain pen.

    Nooooooo.....I never knew that!
Surely the whole point of them being made was to sustain students in the middle of a particularly boring lesson/lecture? Unscrew the silver top...take the main section out and suck up the contents...:p:
