Woot woot! Just sent off application a while ago, Maggie Rules! Yeh! Lol quite excited nows, just got the long wait till moving in. So yeh, addagrrr8, it'll be great if you could send pics of the place (didn't show it in brouchure :frown:

yeah but no one really went to them...

they normally chilled out in each others flats... mainly the kitchens!!

we put 2 big screen tv's one connected to a ps2 and the other to an xbox in one of the kitchens...
we never left it (unless we ran out of beer :biggrin:

)

Ah koolies, cheers for the pics! Ya, room seem pretty good spaced, window view aint too bad either, you get to see the city! Cos I only get to see neighbouring houses from my bedroom (rural areas sheesh) woot can't wait. Great job on the newspapered doors :yy:

Student gym is about 3 minutes away. £120 a year for unlimited use.

Bateson people range from alright to tossers. Same as everywhere really.

£120 sounds alrite, do u have to pay for the classes and do they have personal trainers?

to be honest part of me is like hmmm bateson and the other part of me is like its only were u live not gonna be there 24/7 doesnt matter. But yea im a lil bit confused, im excited and hesisitant at the same time.

no no no, the large rooms used to be double rooms but they're all single occupancy rooms these days..

yeah ya dont pay it!!

when ya gt there youll get a letter straight away from them...

ring up the number to say you dont have a tv and just put on a bad foriegn accent (international student), even struggle with english, you never get any problems from them!

Thanks i'll keep that in mind, might not even bother getting TV. Just hook up teh 360 to a monitor with VGA adaptor and use like a tv tuner on the computer or something.

I never had a tv licence. I had a letter sent to my room (but addressed to the previous person). It was sent half way through the year, everyone else had letters sent nearer to the beginning. They never came around to check and with the room checks we had the staff didn't check if we had a tv licence if we had a tv in our room. (I was in Rees)
