I think it is something to do with if it can be battery powered. We used to take a TV like that into work to watch the football and it was covered.

Yeah, if it's powered solely by its own internal battery, then it's covered.

About £110 or something, I don't know for sure. I didn't have a TV this year, and I can't say I missed it at all.

No thats a year. I think it was 127.50 or something very similar to that last year. if you don't use it for the whole year (which you won't unless you stay in pompey over the summer) you can claim some of it back, but you will have to go to the tv licence website to find more out about that.

The only soap I miss is Neighbours, and since I've been home I've become addicted to Deal Or No Deal. And the World Cup. But other than that, I don't miss TV at all.

Radio is the way forward.

I'm already a Pompey student.

The Karl Kennedy thing at the Union was absolutely rammed. I queued for ages to get in, but gave up in the end. I saw Pat Sharp though.

i mean the only exciting bit was the plane crash or watever it was. thats it hollyoaks so much drama, tension oh its brilliant! eastenders is also rubbish and so is coronation street. emmerdale....wht the hell is going on there. they need better writers.

no deal or deal is so boring, i watched it and was like no wonder its on like E4 only (correct me if im wrong ppl)

but as i say each to their own, if u love neighbous good for u.

karl kennedy at portsmouth????? really!!

you aint no student lol

you should know deal of no deal.... right after countdown (the most student program in the world) on C4!
Lol he's right. But for me I don't watch soaps, I use em in showers instead  naaah but seriously I just find them doing the same thing over and over again. Dramas are so much more interesting and won't last for years on end relying on some exciting stuff they reuse and you know it won't happen so much in real life anyways. Kinda takes away the realness don't ya think? but then again that's how you keep audiences gripped. Not everyone's cup of tea *shrugs*

deal or no deal is awesome. housemate was on it couple weeks back, opened the 10,000 box!

C4!!! OMG IT IS AS WELL! i'm such an idiot .

ive been watchin big brother havent had time for countdown altho it is okay, a bit boring at times.

LISA IS OUT, ABOUT BLOODY TIME. Got on my nerves ahhhh!!

some storylines in soaps are stupid...like for example in hollyoaks mandy's been thru so much and im like no one can go thru tht much stuff in their life in such a short period of time. exxageration, i mean life can be boring at times. so u kno soaps take us away into another world, another realm (okay maybe not realm but u kno wot i mean)

I'm completely obsessed with all soaps. Neighbours, then doctors, then either Monk, or Murder She Wrote, or something similar, Countdown then Deal or no Deal... There's so many things to watch, and then I feel lazy watching them all (Plus it uses up an entire afternoon!) But how people live without tv I do not know. Afternoon lectures suck because they eat up so much good daytime tv!!
