Possibly because it isn't a polarised phenomenon, the is a spectrum involving for instance lectures supporting case/problem based learning, or cases supporting a primarily lecture based course. Additionally nowhere to my knowledge retains a pure PBL curriculum, and you may also find that places change significantly over the 5-6 years you study there, moving in one or another direction.
I think at best you can aim for oneside of the midline and plan for a spot of deviation towards the norm or a drift to a pole. Frankly though you should only be looking at this to choose between places after working out where you have the best chance of getting in.
