Oh i love this dress so much, what colour did you get? Is it as nice as it looks in the pictures, im thinking about getting it.
I got it in black. The skirt bit is amazing, its like all stiff and curly! Although it comes up a little big on me, the dress is like a very stretchy almost t-shirt material. I'd get one size smaller. But worth getting!

These came today - HOWEVER they are going back! Ordered them two days before they were £49.50 @ £99.00 . . .sending them straight back and re ordering @ £49.50. Sounds daft, but where there's a saving in this recession, gotta take advantage of it.
    heart those!! good buy x

yeah, I wanted it for an absolute age but couldn't justify £15+postage, then it got reduced to a fiver

I was also quite surprised by how it looked on, because I thought it'd be something that would only look good on someone slim!

hey! I did my major lot of sales shopping a couple of days ago and that's when I got my big bargains (the shoes, hobbs skirt, austin reed skirt etc) so there are defs good deals to be had. I'm really hunting for nice workwear atm but don't know what I'm meant to wear exactly. Smart stuff obvs because I've mainly applied for jobs in banking and consulting but I don't know if smart separates are acceptable or if you're expected to wear suits?? I really am blah about suits because everything in the shops seems to be polyestery! I really want something that's a wool mix and a little high end but everything that's on sale is not available in my size in tos and bottoms. sigh.

I was thinking of wearing the hobbs skirt, a black silk shortsleeved blouse, tights and the shoes above if I get called to an assessment center but am unsure if that is smart enough.

I bought this cute charm for my Pandora bracelet:

    http://www3.pandora-jewelry.com/uk/J...m,%2014K=94241

And a few bits in the Jack Wills sale! Got so much gorgeous stuff for christmas that i've not had the need to buy anything recently, and exams so i've not had any time to even look...but i'm looking forward to new stock in the next few weeks.

Think that's all i've bought recently! Nice comfy revision clothes :p:

i bought some seamed treggings for half price in the river island sale and my god, they were so amazing i bought three more slightly different pairs :P
thick and sitff enough to stop ANY thigh jiggle if i start running about, and to wear as trousers. and the seam/zip details make them look so good, jodphur style seams are particularly flattering

    Ah, it's difficult, isn't it?
The sales are on now, but you don't have the job yet so you can't check what they wear in the office.

Generally smart seperates seem to be acceptable, but for office wear there's nothing better than the banana republic sales. then you can get one of their gorgeous basic skirts and only buy the matching suit jacket (which doesn't look cheap - because sadly it's not, lol) once you know if it's needed or not for work.

i would have thought you'd have plenty of office clothes already, nice pencil skirts and shirts etc.

For interviews i went for a suitdress from warehouse. very high cut and you just wear a white shirt under it, but it's much nicer looking than a suit in my opinion.

similar, but not quite the same, to this:

    http://www.austinreed.co.uk/pws/imag...70731001_1.jpg

also, great for office work without being a bloody suit (still don't own one, lol) :p:

and thanks for the heads up on the shopping bargains still being around! yay! might not be too dissappointed then!
