Oil&Gas field: pursuing a MEng in RGU Aberdeen

Hi there,

I have a couple of questions for the community, especially profesionals in the Oil&Gas field.

1) I am now working in Spain as a site engineer in an engineering Company specialized in energy and pulp&paper fields, but because of some disappointments and not being able to climb up in my professional career, I am a bit disappointed and I'm considering to move to Aberdeen and try to begin in the Oil&Gas sector. Currently I hold a spanish Masters in Engineering (but I don't know if NARIC will acknowledge as such, since when I finished my degree we don't have the Bolonia agreements). I was interested in some Masters currently taught in RGU but I don't know if the requirements are very tough. Where could I get some information about that?

2) Finally, I suppose they will ask some certificate of proficiency in English or something like that. Where could I find out some information on this subject?

Thank you all for your answers, and sorry for my poor english.

Cheers.

RGU Energy & Operations Masters degrees are listed on their website:
http://www.rgu.ac.uk/areas-of-study/subjects/business-management-and-accounting/study-options/postgraduate/energy-and-operations-management/energy-and-operations-management

Click on each link to look at the specifics of each Masters degree, including entry requirements.

RGU also has the English language requirements on their website:
http://www.rgu.ac.uk/future-students/international-students/english-language-requirements

Most British universities will have the full information about all of their courses, available online.

Thank you for your cooperation. Anyway, and I know it could sound weird, I'm trying to find out some experiences of mature students as well, In particular in the engineering field.

Cheers.
