    You can do it at the job centre, but they may give you forms and send you away with a date to come back in a few weeks. And then them processing it takes ages.

    awww really? if i moved in somewhere soon and then applied for them would it take a couple of months to process it? or can i go somewhere else?

    If you moved soon, you'd need to make sure you either had an understanding landlord, or enough money to cover your rent until the housing benefit was sorted and you got it back.

    You can soimetimes speed things up if you're gonna be made homeless by a certain date and have a letter stating that
