Hello, I have those UCAS finance forms still sitting at my house, I've forgotten to send them all off, is it too late? It's that greenish booklet about how I'm going to pay for Uni.

Oh and I don't have my passport or birth certificate, will they accept a copy?

I haven't sent that either. I remember getting one but I just thought it was some survey crap and kept it somewhere. Is it important?

To guarrentee your money at the start of the academic year, the deadline for income assessed (it's too late for non-income assessed, but this doesn't really matter) is 30th June, so I'd hurry.

With regard to your passport or birth certificate, you either need to send the original (obviously recorded or special delivery) with your form or take both the original and a photocopy to your council offices (ours only do specific days - I suspect yours may be the same). Someone there who's specially authorised will have to get the copy signed as a 'true likeness' of the original, so you can send the copy with your form and not the original. Your school may have people who can do this - ask them.

The actual finance forms (they're not actually directly from UCAS) are pretty important, yes...

UCAS did send out various bit of mail which were just freebies, surveys and so forth. These aren't worth up to £6000 a year though, and so are less vital.

Oh, but I don't think I've got the finance form yet. Or maybe I have and I have kept it somewhere I don't know.

Is there anyway I can ask them to send it again?

You're not guaranteed to get any money on time. However, you can apply up to 9 months after starting the course, so you should get money eventually.

You can download it from the website, the link to which is stickied in the Student Finace subforum which can be found under General University Discussion.
