How Do You Revise? Share Your Best Tips!

Great idea for a thread.
I am 'trying' to do this, but so far been unsuccessful. Key dates and important figures I put them on sticky notes and place them all over the house. The most common of places such as the toilet, kitchen, bathroom and my wardrobe. So when I'm not studying - I am always reminded :smile:

umm...write it down in bullet points with a cheeky diagram here and there? I never really understood those fancy methods. old school works best for me.

This probably is a stupid question, albeit I am going to ask it anyway.
How do you effectively note take during class? My subjects are essay based subjects and I find it very difficult. I am doing History, Sociology and Religious Studies.

I read and remembered the entire unit of Biology in three days. Just took the different topic questions from past papers and wrote down the mark scheme answers to them.
Got full marks in the actual exam.
