Bra Sharing?

Has anyone ever shared bras with a friend or family member?

I remember distinctly when I went to boarding school, two girls who were good friends & roomates both regularly shared clothes and 36B bras.

Does anyone now do that, or ever have done it?

Seems like a very personal piece of clothing to share, but I suspect it's a lot more common than I'd expect.

Definately not. Only if they were desperate, say they got soaked in a storm and needed a change of clothes.

I wouldn't have a problem with that...I haven't done it admittedly, as I don't live with anyone the same bra size as me! But I'd lend a friend a top even if I knew she was gonna go bra-less wearing it...so I'd lend her a bra. But only if we were pretty close, and definitely no knicker sharing! :p:

I have a bra my cousin passed onto me when she grew out of it (I'm only an ickle 34AA so she had the bra when she was about 13!) and I have no problem wearing that.

Yep!! you just reminded me i lent a bra to my (close) friend cos she needed one with clear straps and she hasnt given it back yet!!!! I need it at the weekend! thanks!

i haven't before - as a lot of my mates have a larger bra & rib cage (whatever that size is called) size than moi, though wouldn't mind it, as long as it wasn't an expensive one...and they would have to be kind of close, or it'd be awkward methinks..they wouldn't ask if they didn't know me well anyway i guess..

I have..I was desperate for a bra - my black one had broken the day before and i needed a black one to go with a top - so I borrowed a friends - we were quite close but not massively close..

I'd never share a bra with any of my friends. If my mum and sister were the same size as me then I'd probably share with them though.

I share my underpants with other guys sometimes. Its a bit annoying when they dont wash them before they give them back though.

if its an old bra, i dont mind having it, ive been given 2 bras by 2 different friends cos thye were too small for them, well its not as if a charity shop will want them! As long as it was clean i dont see the problem. its different with underwear tho.

too true, too true, i once helped out at a bloody excellent charity shop, they did rotations (where one shop sends their stuff to another, so stock can be renewed etcetc) & you wouldn't believe what these other shops kept.......... :eek:

I'd never share my knickers with anyone! think of the state of 'hygiene' they have down there!

I wouldn't mind sharing bras with my sister or close friends though as long as they're desperate for one or are the same size (which immediately crosses my sister out of my bra sharing list...)

I quite often lend my strapless and clear back strap bra to my friend. She washes it after so I don't see the problem. That said I don't think I'd lend one to any old body.
