puking up - how do u stop?

i just started puking up if i felt i ate too much, felt too heavy (usually lunch or dinner), or ate sumthing tht wasn't healthy/fatty. however for the first time i just puked up my breakfast becaause i fel really guilty bout eating a crumpet and thought it was too much with a bowl of cereal. now thats just a bit excessive - i dont want this puking thing to takeover all my meals - i mean i only want to puke up stuf that i shudnt have eaten thats not too healthy, so its outta my body and doesnt have potential to add on too many pounds. so i wud just like any advice, prbs from people who used to do the same kinda thing - how do you stop?
coz i think its gotten to the stage where i really didnt want it 2 get 2- bt then again i got that voice in my head sayin oh it doesnt matter just carry on for just another month, then you'l have that bikini body u want (going on holiday soon) and look great in prom dress - gosh that makes me sound crazy..!

Sounds like you have the beginnings of an eating disorder. You really need to nip this in the bud while you are still rational about it and before it takes over your eating habits completely. Throwing up regularly has such a detrimetal effect on your health all rod, you really need to stop now. If you are not happy with your diet, change it. Don't just eat what you want and throw it up. The only way to a healthy 'bikini body' is a balanced diet and exercise. If you are constanly throwing up, you are hardly going to have the energy for real exercise.

I agree with 1013. Mayeb your eyes are larger than your stomach? in that case, after you eaten something, you should let it settle for about 10mins to determine whether you are still hungry then you can help yourself to another heklping is you are actually hungry. Whenever i'm really hungry, i usually eat looooads and then realise afterwards once it all settled that i ate too much and have that sickly feeling like you've descirbed and really wanting to throw up.

Exercise is always the key to a bikini body in my opinion. Throwing up the food you ate won't help at all and jeoperdizes your health

Another point to add.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe the stomache acid that your spewing up can and will eventually start to erode your teeth if you keep on being sick.

Stop now while this is under your control and not the other way round.

You will never get a bikini body that way, you'll just mess up your entire body and your body will cling on to every morsel of food if you abuse it in that way.
Do not listen to the voice in your head that says it doesnt matter, because it does.
Once you start its a very very hard cycle to break.
You'll have digusting teeth, skin, hair, complexion, and you'll be paranoid of food for the rest of your life.
Honestly whats wrong with a crumpet and cereal, it's hardly excessive! Its not junk and it'll fill you up nicely till lunch.
If you really want a bikini body try and get some exercise DVD's, they really do work i tried one this morning and my muscles were aching during the warm up!
Stop seeing food as evil and start enjoying it.

you have got an eating disorder or you are getting one. its known as bulimia, where you eat a meal or binge eat then puke it up again because you feel guilty about eating it. eventually your body automatically starts puking without you sticking your fingers down your throat which makes it hard to stop even if you want to. perhaps you should talk to someone that could help you stop, or a councelor. doing this to your body is not good for it and you should stop as quickly as possible! look it up on google.

I don't know about stopping puking, but I have found that closing the mouth helps.

I just do the same as you. Puke up when i do eat. Even if ive only had a salad. Thats what all i will eat-evenng meal and i cant even keep a salad down. Is this being silly......

Actually, I got a bikini body that way. I'm not saying it's a good thing (obviously) but let's not generalise! It sounds like she has an eating disorder and that's about a lot more than food, it's an emotional thng. It can't be solved that easily...afraid I don't know what advice I can give. Perhaps try to think about the deeper issues so you can understand what's gong on better?

seek help NOW. you started small now things are progressing to more serious levels. please seek profesional input whether it be nurse, doctor or nutritionist. they can help you find a healthy way of losing weight which may be slower then throwing up everything you eat but is so much better for you in the long run. Getting a 'bikini body' this way will do you no good infact throwing up purposely just coz you had a 'bad' food this week (for example) is no good either please please please seek help before it takes any more control over your life.

I can't really understand why you started doing it in the first place; everywhere we are told that exercise is the way to lose weight, but unless you stop pretty much right now then you won't be able to ever stop. Unless you make yourself so ill that you get forced into intensive treatment against your will and are forced to eat lots of food and aren't allowed to be sick! They'll make you put the weight back on and it will all have been for nothing. Can you imagine depriving yourself day after day after day in a desperate attempt to get thin? But you can never get there. Everytime you lose a bit, you still think you're too fat. And again. And again. If you continue like this and get addicted to vomiting YOU WILL NEVER BE HAPPY WITH YOUR BODY. You'll never think you're quite good enough. And in the meantime you'll get so thin that it will actually just look frightening. Instead of becoming more attractive like you wanted to, you'll look practically dead! Your teeth will rot away from the vomit and you will smell of sick. And people will notice, they will walk past you in the street and be horrified :frown:

Trust me - I'd love a bikini body too but this is NOT the way to go about it. A little excess is ALWAYS better than the option you are going with. Please just exercise. Sorry if this seemed a little extreme but it's just so much easier to scare you off it and nip it in the bud than to let you get any more addicted. You must speak to someone - your parents, a doctor! They will help!
