I have a BTEC National Certificate in building services enginering, which many people call an ONC, it took me two years on day release. I also have a HNC which is the next level. I was told an ONC was equivalent to a couple of a-levels at a low grade. Each ONC is made up of 9 or 10 units of levels 2 and 3. Do you mean you have five units? Don't know if this helps.
