The p2 presentation basically tells you all you need to know ( at this stage ) about life in the RAF etc... It also tells you and shows you ( via video) about what you are getting into  .

My presentation was earlier this year for 2013 entry RAF , I dont think much has changed since then . Hopefully this helps and good luck for you interviews !

I got my letter saying I have a interview on the 4th of December but It also says that I only get a interview if I pass psychometric testing first. I am applying through the navy and was wondering is this what everyone has do? I was talking to others who are also applying and they don't seam to have to do the psychometric test! Can anybody help?

Thanks and I will defiantly be practising. It's right in the middle of my mocks so that will be fun, but it's worth it!

Good luck for thursday ! An you're welcomed. I had my interview booked straight after my P2 presentation so be sure you are already doing your research thoroughly into the process and your service - paying attention to detail - as you will be asked about it . Also take notes in the presentation, you will need to !

Hey guys.. im applying to the army and was wondering if anyone could give me some tips or answer some questions.
1) I do a lot of running as im a athlete and have been practicing my 1.5 mile runs, is there any other fitness i should be practicing.?
2) is there anything I should be aware of?

Also im going to a open day on the 4th of December. Please get in touch if anyone else is going on that day as well

From what I gather at the Selection Board at Westbury (mine is in march) there is a 500m run and not a 1.5mile? I'm not 100% sure though, I just saw this video.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-H4uIeNFNU Just make sure you can do push ups and sit up and have a good upper body strength!

Make sure you read/watch the news and are up to date with global affairs. Practice the Reasoning tests etc from the Army Website. That's what I was told after my initial interview!

Good Luck!

Had anyone else got their medical on the 16th of December in Lichfield?

Hey Georgie,
there's definitely a 1.5 mile run at Westbury, not sure about 500m, but you never know! I found this site really useful:
armyofficerselection.co.uk

Good luck

Hey Wil, im not sure if its 1.5miles or 500m i been looking at some videos, one video says about 1.5miles(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpH0L0XaM5c ) but also says they only do a 500m in another.( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXkIoQZAVDk ) found these quite useful.

If anyone would like to prepare for this i found some useful documents of the army website to help you understand them more. http://www.army.mod.uk/documents/general/map_test_prep.pdf
