Pill made boobs smaller?
Anybody experienced their boobs getting smaller whilst taking the pill?
I've been on Microgynon before, but now I'm on Cilest...and both pills made me drop at least a cup size. Even when I came off Microgynon and wasn't on any form of pill for around 8 months, they never returned to their original size again (bit annoying!). It's not bothering me that much, I'm just interested to know if anybody else has experienced the same. I've only really heard about boobs getting bigger whilst being on the pill!

yes this has happened to me:/ I've been on the injection, implant and the pill and they've all contributed! quite angry as I've gone down a size since I was 16...

I started the pill (desogestrel) about 2 months ago and my breast are now one cup size smaller. I weigh myself one a month and I haven't lost any weight.I remember the same thing happening when I took the pill (cilest) about 6 years ago. I stopped taking it after about 2 years, and my breasts eventually went back to their normal size over time (about a year or so), so I'm hoping when I stop the pill again in the future the same thing will happen and they'll go back to my normal size again.It is strange because there's only information on breast size increasing on the pill, so this opposite effect must be a rarer side effect or the people that experience this aren't associating the change with the pill
The same thing happened to me and I’m really confused because I haven’t changed my diet and I’m around the same weight. I want my boobs back!!!
It's happening to me too, I've lost 1-2 cup sizes from implanon. I've only been off for a couple of months so hopefully it goes back after a while.

I have noticed the same thing. My boobs have fluctuated a lot in size depending on what birth control method I was using (implant, pill, shot) and now since I’m off all forms of birth control, I’ve noticed a huge size difference in my boobs in the last month!
I’ve had a similar experience! I used to be around a C cup and then started on the combined pill which increased my size to a D - DDD cup and then swapped to progesterone only/mini pill as I was getting migraines on the combined. Now I have smaller boobs (B - C) than before I ever started birth control

Currently on desogestrel one and boobs have gotten smaller🙄did u ever speak to a doctor about it and see if anything can help stop it?

Hopefully some insight into the matter... My take-home message from researching the issue, is that a reduction in breast size has something to do with lower levels of estrogen. Namely due to the fact that estrogen causes fluid retention and can increase fat tissue of the breast. It is my understanding progestin can in fact have the opposite effect. I have been taking the Desogestrel mini pill and my boobs have seen a noticeable reduction in their natural size. I believe this is because there is no synthetic estrogen in the pill, therefore my levels are reduced. A hormonal imbalance if you will.

greetings ladies if anyone has any updates about this please reply! I’ve been off nortrel for 5 months and my boobs have not increased to their pre birth control size
