I dont know much about it, but a friend stayed at wadham during her interview and said it was wonderful. the college should be able to tell you how long they offer accomodation for.

I saw two rooms at Wadham when I went to Ox for my interviews. Both were really nice (though not ensuited) - consisted of a lounge area (with a coffee table, study area + comfy sofa chairs) connected to the bedroom (which had a sink). Both of the rooms I saw also had a mini fridge

From the Wadham website:

Accommodation

The College has approximately 300 rooms on the main site, of which about 30 are allocated to graduates and the remainder to undergraduates. There are a further 117 rooms at 'Merifield', the College's self-catering complex in Summertown, just over one mile north of the College.
All rooms on the main college site are either single or double sets (two single bedrooms with a large shared sitting room). There are a number of small kitchens for personal use, a central launderette, and cycle storage facilities. At Merifield the accommodation is in four or five-bed flats, and there are four two-bed flats for couples. All the five-bed, and some of the four-bed flats have two bathrooms. There is a small launderette and cycle storage.

All undergraduate freshers and finalists are accommodated on the main college site. Students reading four-year courses with split finals are accommodated on the main site in the year for one of their two final years, and are also guaranteed accommodation at Merifield for whichever of the two final years that they are not in college. Any rooms remaining at Merifield are allocated by ballot to second-year students.

My cousin's a third year at Wadham, doing the 4 year MPhys. From what I remember you can choose from different price brackets - I could be wrong though! She chose the cheapest option. Her first year room was quite small, but had a sink and possibly a fridge (can't remember the finer details of it anymore). However, it was like a furnace all the time - she always had her window wide open, even in early November when I visited her, but it made practically no difference to the temperature. This year it seems like history is repeating itself, as her room is above the boiler!

She had to move into private accomodation in her second year with several other people she met at college, and in the third year rooms are allocated by ballot, so it's the luck of the drwa what you get. In the fourth year she's moving out again, this time to college-owned accomodation in Summertown - probably the Merifield housing mentioned above.
