thanks in advance
From the Wadham website:
The College has approximately 300 rooms on the main site, of which about 30 are allocated to graduates and the remainder to undergraduates. There are a further 117 rooms at 'Merifield', the College's self-catering complex in Summertown, just over one mile north of the College.
All rooms on the main college site are either single or double sets (two single bedrooms with a large shared sitting room). There are a number of small kitchens for personal use, a central launderette, and cycle storage facilities. At Merifield the accommodation is in four or five-bed flats, and there are four two-bed flats for couples. All the five-bed, and some of the four-bed flats have two bathrooms. There is a small launderette and cycle storage.
All undergraduate freshers and finalists are accommodated on the main college site. Students reading four-year courses with split finals are accommodated on the main site in the year for one of their two final years, and are also guaranteed accommodation at Merifield for whichever of the two final years that they are not in college. Any rooms remaining at Merifield are allocated by ballot to second-year students.
She had to move into private accomodation in her second year with several other people she met at college, and in the third year rooms are allocated by ballot, so it's the luck of the drwa what you get. In the fourth year she's moving out again, this time to college-owned accomodation in Summertown - probably the Merifield housing mentioned above.
