I'm trying to get some quality protein in but without bars/shakes and stuff I've turned to a spoonful of PB or two every morning with brekkie, it's not like I have a chicken in the freezer every time I get hungry

However that's got to the point where shortly after I have painful trips to the bathroom 0_0 not sure whether that's OK or not

I would have protein shakes maybe but I'm concerned how my mum would react too

What's wrong with saying to your mum that you want to put more muscle on and either you get protein shakes or more meat in?

    1. Stop having it then...haha
    2. Protein shakes are not freaking steroids. It's just convenient protein, instead of cooking chicken at like 9 at night or 6 in the morning.

Possibly. But I never used to be I'd eat peanuts all the time. And in the last 2 years peanut butter's become one of my fave foods

    Peanuts are laxative

    This could be why.
Did people have er, changes in digestive habits when they changed their diet significantly?

    1. I like PB though, just not the effect
    2. Yeah this is true, just I expect her to say something like 'why can't you just eat normally' etc.

If we're talking breakfast I go for egg whites. 2 egg whites and one whole, more if bulking. Not super delicious but one of the more popular high protein breakfast options.

Yeah I have PB on toast sometimes, or mix it in with Weetabix/porridge etc.

    There's a chance I'm getting a serious laxative effect :P

Please do not try and insinuate that I'm intellectually challenged or anything, I've already had a colleague to do that to me this week...and for the record yes I have a learning disability
