    I'm taking Maths and Further maths at AS level; I was wondering how much each exam's worth and how they're grouped between the 2 AS levels. -thankyou

    In the normal AS you will take Core 1, Core 2 and an applied module either Mechanics 1, Probability and Statistics 1 or Decision 1.
    For Further maths AS, you will take FP1, and two other modules e.g M2, S2, or something like that.
    Each module is worth 100 UMS, or 1/3 of the AS total.

    Thankyou That helps - One quick thing though:
    I was told the best of the 3 modules is added to regular maths [whilst the other 2 are added to the FP1], is this true?

    If you take both maths and FM, then the modules are arranged to give you the best possible grade in first maths, then further maths.
