So having jut completed my first year of university, I can certainly relate to your panicky, nauseating feelings of distress in terms of what's to come tomorrow.
This time last year, I'd just finished my shift at work, ran as quickly as I could back to my house and had a "Harry Potter movie marathon" with as many friends as I could gather.
As soon as they left, the horrible feeling of results looming nearer and nearer began to grow, and so I switched on Friends and ended up watching three entire seasons before I fell asleep at around six in the morning.
I was woken by a dozen calls and texts from friends having already received their results and gotten their places at uni, as well as my mum knocking on my door asking if I'd got in.
I checked the time - ten past eleven - and I panicked, went on UCAS.
the mere memory of the anxiety I felt when logging on to track still seems distressing.
After clicking that refresh page (as it crashed ) I found a confirmation letter from Cardiff university congratulating me on my place.
I honestly felt so happy and relieved in that one second. Words aren't enough to describe it.
I really, really doubted that I'd get my place as I'd successfully convinced myself that I'd performed poorly in my exams. I'd even begun planning for clearing, so it was a genuine surprise.
On that note, I just want to wish everyone good luck - I hope everything goes well for you guys. If nothing goes to plan, just stay up drinking fizzy drinks and watching Youtube fail videos.
Good luck, guys!
Good luck to everyone receiving their results tomorrow! Watch
