Cao to Ucas Points?
Hey everyone!
Just got the results from my Irish Leaving Cert, but I'm hoping to study in Portsmouth University. What I need to know is how many UCAS points does 355 CAO points convert to?
The problem is, I don't know how to convert my points? Like do I count all the subjects I studied (7) or just my overall points?
(P.S.to get into the college I need 100 UCAS points do you think I've got enough?)

What you actually do is convert your grades, not your points as such. You count 6 subjects max, exactly like the Irish system- the reason is, it's taken that 6 LC subjects = 4 A levels, and the system works in reverse.
