Probably already a thread for this, so apologies in advance for starting another!

I have an interview in a few weeks for part time work in my union bar, just wondering what would be acceptable as clothing, and what sort of things I may be asked?

    Thanks!

They're normally pretty relaxed about clothing and stuff if it's a proper student bar

When i went for my interview at my student bar, i was smart casual (black jeans with no scuffs at the bottom and a casual dress with black boots), and it literally lasted 5 minutes. they just asked me general stuff about what a student union meant to me and what being efficient means - the general stuff about customer service and being part of a team. i just tried to incorporate my experience at a supermarket into my answers. like when they asked "what does helping a customer mean to you", i said "well when i went to the co-op, it meant always leaving a customer satisfied to the full extent whether that be by checking the stock upstairs of a product or opening up a new till to serve people faster". also, they are pretty relaxed. but it's a good idea not to be too casual in your answers, since they do want someone hardworking who can juggle a job with their studies..

i got the job in the end and they're already really helpful in being flexible and stuff so hope you do good
