Hi guys, I was wondering if any of you would happen to know the kind of internet connection I can expect to have in en-suite city accommodation?

Upload/Download etc.

(Sorry if this is a repeat thread, I tried searching the forums/google but nothing came up)

You connect to the uni's internet connection thingy with your student account, its really to figure out. I also recommend you don't download any illegal content as they find you out, the guy I lived with last year got a big fine so be aware of that.

I don't really download at all unless its Steam stuff or games, legally :smile:

I was just curious to the speeds the uni network gives you, I game, a lot. So ping is pretty important etc.

It depends its quite fast I remember when I was in ensuite I was getting over 100mb
