Well, I got accepted by the University I wanted to go without meeting condition. I am happy but shocked  did the Uni make a mistake or are they really generous.

I woke up getting ready for clearing no need to anymore :O

Sometimes universities let people in even if they miss the conditions. It's unlikely to be a mistake, so congratulations .

Is there any chance that it could be a mistake, and how would i check this? I'm in a similar situation, I've received an unconditional offer from my firm, even though i didn't get the required results for my insurance .

Well it's really not that unusual for people to be accepted when they have missed their offer. But if you are worried that it is a mistake then you can contact the university to check. Expect the lines to be busy though.

If track says unconditional there's no point in ringing up to check. Your uni has had your results since Monday and has had a wee bit of time to consider!

    Congratulations

Same thing has happened to me. AAA offer, got ABB but my Uni has still accepted me, is it real? Don't want to get my hopes up!

Your application could have really impressed them or anything, either way, if it is unconditional, congratulations and party away!

Yup. An 'unconditional' is a nailed on acceptance.

    Well done

Yes it's probably right. It happens. If your offer is now unconditional then you're in. Congratulations

seems like this is happening more this year, I know I've almost certainly got into my firm without meeting their stated requirement

I needed BBB and got BCD (and a C in general studies), still got the unconditional. Does that sound like a mistake or am i just being paranoid?

You're being paranoid. People do often get let in even if they miss their offers. If your offer is now unconditional then you're in. Congratulations .

I think TSR has some advice somewhere along the lines of "Don't ring your uni to check if there has been a 'mistake.' " If you've been accepted on UCAS then you've been accepted, congratulations all of you!
