It says on my results that my mark for unit 1 Geography was 90 and the grade is a C but according to the grade boundaries that AQA published the boundary for an A is something like 78, anyone have some advice to offer about this sort of situation?

The exam is likely worth up to 140 Ums whilst raw is maybe out of 100.

Likely you got a C and the mark shown is your UMS (which out of say 140, would be a C grade.)

I don't do geography though so I can't be sure.

Are you sure you're not getting confused between UMS and raw marks?

Pretty sure you got 90/140 from what it looks like.

Yeah I think the 90 must be UMS then... I always thought the mark they gave us was the raw score but I guess not, thanks!
