As of now I'm abroad, waiting for an email which contains my results from my head of sixth.

My track has not been updated meaning I'm probably being considered by my firm choice. I don't want to miss the opportunity of calling my firm to try and persuade them to accept me, instead of waiting till midday if they accepted me or not.

However I don't have my results, should i wait and see if my head of sixth will send my results to me. or just call my firm without knowing my results?

    Hello Hienz,

I would recommend that you dial your firm before you get your results from your head of sixth. Your firm will know your results already and because it has passed 8am, Thursday 15 August, they can share them with you. Off course, you might want to get the excitement of getting your results from your Head of Sixth over the phone or email, but your firm choice will be able to discuss with you, if needed.

    Best of luck!

Without knowing your results there is very little point in calling at all, they won't be able to do anything tbh.

Check track again later to see if it has been updated (after midday) and hopefully you'll have your results by then.

You need your results before doing anything else, really - you don't if you've missed, if you've missed by a lot or a little... Try phoning your sixth form and asking them to 'unofficially' tell you them over the phone.

There's not much point in contacting them until you have your results. The next track update is at midday, so check again after that.

Just wait Track is predicted to update at midday, so there may be some news then. No news now doesn't necessarily mean bad news. If you haven't got your results there's not much you can say - if you have missed your offer you can't try to persuade your Firm by saying you were only X UMS off etc, because you have no idea what you got. Chase your head of sixth for your results first.

Get on their website and find a number for confirmation, or if they don't have one call the clearing hotline. But only do this once you get your grades
