Basically, Plymouth is my first choice I didn't quite manage to get onto the course i applied for, but they offered me an alternative course which was very similar, and im more than happy with this and accepted and confirmed my place at this course just over an hour ago.

I applied for accommodation on the first day applications opened, and so i would have thought id be in a pretty good position to get one of my three choices of accommodation, however im now wondering that with me only just confirming my place and other people being confirmed earlier during the week will i still be in the runnings for my accommodation of choice?
(ie will the accommodation places be first come first serve based on when your place is confirmed, or when people originally applied for accommodation?)

I haven't yet got an accomodation offer, but im hoping that all the places in halls were allocated a while ago, and my place at uni will just have to be processed before i get my accommodation offer (which is hopefully still reserved from when i first applied)

Did you ever get a conditional offer of accommodation? That's what I got last year, when I first applied I got an offer for an ensuite in a 7 bedroom flat and then on results day that was confirmed.

no its different this year, you put three choices of accommodation and then your accommodation is confirmed after your place at the uni has been confirmed
