I just received AS results: A B C D, in English, Biology, Maths and Chemistry respectively.

I want to apply to pharmacy with offers ranging from AAA - ABB and am aiming to take the ABD grades to A-Level.

Is there any chance of receiving any offers for ABB with ABD??

Also, I was thinking of taking a gap year and applying next year, with possible better grades.

Your grades aren't too bad! Well done , I done much worse than you tbh at AS level and got all 5 pharmacy offers even including UCL and Kings. I think you should defenetly apply and if you don't get in reapply during your gap year ... Just make sure predicted a B in chem and if you want to get into kings or UCL than AAB is required.

Good luck! I wish you the best

hey ive just received my results and was very disappointed I got D in bio E in chem and E in maths. altogether including AS ive got 170 UCAS points. I originally applied for pharmacy and didn't meet the requirements. I tried out for pharmaceuticals in clearing and still don't meet the requirement. I don't whether to take up any science related course that's available or take a gap year and redo the exams in June and apply next September? bear in mind I retook AS. is it worth taking another year? HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Have you tried foundation courses? I know it's not really science but my good friend got a CDU in A2 after repeating the year at a private school and Swansea still accepted him for engineering through a foundation course on clearing, so now his course takes 5 years instead of 3

Don't retake another year. You're going to need to swallow truth here and accept that maybe Pharmacy is not for you. Have you considered any other options at all that you might wish to pursue for a university degree?

I had the same situation I got BCCD at AS and was advised to retake and still apply to Pharmacy. I did and I got BCCD at A Level but was really close so I am still glad I applied even though I didn't get in. The thing is you really need to work hard but it should pay off
