Got offer and accepted at Bristol for Law, offer AAA.
Got AAAB in the end ( 3 marks of an A* in politics and math)

Been wanting to change to Economics/and Politics.
Emailed few places a couple weeks ago,
    Most said wait till results.
Bristol & Exeter (ins) both said courses full!

Durham in clearing but haven't got through after over 200 calls :-(
Desperately want to go to uni this year, but there aren't many top unis in clearing and I'm not sure what to do!

There's the chance that Bristol might allow you to switch in the first 2 weeks if someone drops out of a course you want, but I don't know if it'd be a risk you want to take. It worked for one of my friends, but not the other.

Keep on trying Durham, you'll get through eventually.

    Ask again at bristol

If you explain that you're thinking of going elsewhere or taking a gap year and reapplying then they might be more helpful.

Tried again, they said oh well done blah blah but absolutely no places for economics left..

They did say first time in email I could try changing while there but it is a risk and I don't really want to do Law for 3 years if I can't.. If it was say economics and I wanted with politics I would but..
