Hi there pal, this year i will be starting pharmacy at the university of Bradford. it's one of the best but the city is not too nice. however, for food it is very cheap and they have new accomadation.

With your grades you could get into the best universities in uk including UCL, Nottingham, De-montfort, the list goes on.

use this website to help you decide.....

Hi there

I you would like to know more about studying Pharmacy at Bradford then take a look at our website: http://www.bradford.ac.uk/life-sciences/careers-employability/pharmacy/

The City of Bradford itself is quite small, very different to bigger cities such as Leeds or Manchester, but it is surrounded by lots of smaller towns and villages and this is really where things happen. Take a look at our City web pages: http://www.bradford.ac.uk/the-city-of-bradford/

There are many places to eat and drink in Bradford and the surrounding area and loads of things to do when you are here.

We have a very multicultural campus with students from all over the world and we have our own office in China which looks after students from China and Hong Kong.

Details are below if you want to get in touch with them:

University of Bradford China Office
Contact: Rosemary Zhao
Tel: +86 18600048922
Email: [email protected]
Address: Room 1012, Building B, COFCO Plaza, No 8 Jiangguomennei Street, Beijing, P.R. China

We also have Agents in HK and the list is here:
http://www.brad.ac.uk/international/before-you-apply/your-country/hong-kong/

If you have any questions at all do not hesitate to get in touch either with the China Office or our international office at: [email protected]

Hello,

I am interested in applying for the Pharmacy MPharm programme for 2014 entry through UCAS. What are the typical entry requirements for 2014 entry? What predicted grades would I need in order to get selected for interview?

Thanks

Well i didn't actually mean it like that, agreeing with bradford universities reply to you about the outer towns and villages are where things happen. i agree the actual surrounding area of bradford uni is great.

Food in Bradford is dead cheap compared to other places in the uk, many activities to do. and from what i believe bradford university has a large number of students coming from your continent

I'm a reliable source seen as i live in bradford !!

GOOD LUCK

Hi lamlam, Well done on you a level grades. If you continue to get 5 A's at a levels, you will meet the requirements for medicine by the way. Your grades are very good, so I would aim much higher such as Queen Mary, Kings college, etc. If your planning on working in the UK I would avoid coming because the pay is not the same as in North America (Canada or USA), and In the Uk the Job is saturated as a lot of Universities offer Pharmacy and alot of students take it also. They do not have the NHS in america, so people pay much more for their prescriptions and hence the better wages. My advice would be to either study pharmacy in North America If you are very keen, or if you want to study in England to change your subject. Because as an International student, you will end up paying over 25 thousands pounds per year in tuition fee loan (not including maintenance cost) and on top of that the salary in Uk is not very high and because you are an international student, employers will be biased against you if you compete with a candidate for a job.
