I have just received my a-level results at ABC in Maths, Biology and Chemistry respectively. I am currently on a gap year and was hoping to apply to uni this year to start September 2014.

I was hoping for ABB and these grades are needed for the majority of unis I have looked at. I would most likely be applying for a maths related course. Would there be any chance of me getting into an ABB university with my results? Or do I need to look at other options?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

If the entry requirements are ABB then it's unlikely you'll get an offer I'm afraid. Are there any options for a remark or retakes to up your C to a B? Other than that, you may have to have a few unis with lower entry requirements on your UCAS application.

Ah okay that's what I thought. Well overall I was about 9 marks away from a B. Which would really require retaking an exam. Well thanks for the reply anyway
