Hi! Are you doing linguistics or English language at Lancaster this year?

Join the LAEL society! We're an active society with lots of members. We'll be arranging events in freshers week (themed, obviously...) and after that, with nights out as well as coffee mornings, revision sessions, drop-ins and academic support.

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow first years AND to meet second and third years - what's better than having a friend who's already done your course?

Feel free to message me if you need any advice, I'm a third year Lancaster University student of sociolinguistics. I lived on campus in first year, and then in town second year. Ask me anything you like, about linguistics/English language, or just about Lancaster (:
