Probably a person who sleeps randomly- sometimes in the day, sometimes nights- like my mum!

A polyphasic sleeper is someone who only sleeps two hours a day...

They take 20 minute naps every four hours but it has to be every four hours...it takes you a while to get used to it though. I only put it on because some of my friends who are doing art and design courses in college have to resort to it sometimes, especially as your approaching deadlines.

Theres some more stuff on it here

Here's wiki's explanation

Well it depends. Usually 9 or 10. If I have early lectures at uni or have to get up early for something then its slightly less. But I usually try and make it about it about 8/9/10 because I need it and I'm a sleepy person.

If im at home and riding every day then at least twelve hours a night. If im at school and not getting so much exercise then about ten with the odd bad night every once in a while (really should exercise more at school but what with revision and all right now...)

6 hours. Sometimes less.

(I'm neurotic)

Aaah right...thats rather weird! I'm nto sure what i am then as i'm quite a random sleeper. I coudl either sleep 11hrs a day, and then the next day i'll sleep 2hrs and then sometimes just one hr and on extreme cases i don't sleep at all! just fluctuating sleep patterns!

I'd like to get 8 hours a night, but it's usually 7. I've discovered i'm fine for a couple of days with 5 hours per night, but then i get really tired and just go for a marathon 10/11 hour sleep

Reply 11

i sleep alot mostly. i think 8-9 minimum. if i dont get enough sleep (for me) i will make it up on weekends.

Reply 12

i try to take afternoon naps during the weekends

Too little recently, about four or five hours down to no sleep whatsoever in a night. Although occasionally I may sleep for over fourteen hours

Reply 14

I sleep for about 7-8 hours.

6-7 is my average

Reply 16

I put 6-7, but it's more like 5-6 (that wasn't an option.) Although I get more at weekends, so it probably evens out. There's just not enough hours in the day to do everything I need to do, so I generally stay up till about 1:00 on school nights and maybe around midnight or half twelve at weekends. On weekdays I get up bwteen 6:30 and 7:00, so I end up being very tired most of the time, which just builds up as the week goes on! Sometimes when I get in from school I just fall asleep on the sofa when I'm watching TV because I'm so tired...

9 or 10

Reply 18

At least 9. Not on college days though, then it's about 8. I have to have my sleep or I turn into a complete monster (watch out my flatmates come freshers' week...)

Reply 19

I only get about 7 hours but would prefer 8 or 9. I'm hoping my sleep count will go up when I start uni - not more getting up for work at 6 freakin' 30!!
