AS Levels didn't go as planned... Advice? Watch

    • Thread Starter

Hey just got my AS results ended up with ABCD, german maths biology chemistry respectively. I knew I wouldn't do well in Chemistry, as I hadn't revised enough which I truly regretted after the exam, but I was so sure I would get an A in Biology and I ended getting a C... I got an E in my ISA! Then B and C in the exams! I had thought I'd done well in all 3, should I get them remarked, can the people marking get it that wrong? I was going to remark Chemistry as well, as I am 3 UMS off a C. I was hoping to do either Medicine or Chemical Engineering, but my chances of that happening seem pretty slim now. I am perfectly capable of getting 4 A's and 3 A*'s, but I am lazy and wasted my time when I should have been revising. Does anyone have any advice to give me, as to what I should do now and also does extra curricular activity make a significant difference on an application or not?

Thanks and I hope everyone got what they wanted today, unfortunately I didn't

In your case, its easy. If you have the brains, show it. Work hard and improve your marks. Universities will line up to take you if you have As and Bs.

I got ADE far worst do you think with resists I can get it to ABB? I can only resit 1 unit per subject and have to sit the exams along with my A2s....

    Help anyone please?
