Can somebody please help me to understand what did I get for Russian unit 2 and 4? I didn't do orals yet, therefore I find it hard to understand what I have gotten so far.

It says for the unit 2 (edexcel GCE A-level) I got 134 Unit UMS/grade marks (I am not sure what it is close to, or what it means, since I thought the maximum I can get is 70?!?!
And in unit 4 I only got 95, therefore I am really worried that this number is so much lower. However on paper I thought it said maximum you can get is only 100 marks??

Can someone please inform me as to what close grades did I get since I didn't do unit 1 or 3 yet in order for my to see the grades.

Based on the published grade boundaries (link), I believe that 70 is the maximum raw mark for unit 2? 140 is the maximum UMS score, based on the linked document, and based on that, 134 is a very good score - well done!

Unit 4 is out of 100 raw marks, converting to 130 UMS. 95/130 is a fair amount lower, yes, equating to a grade C - but it's still not at all bad. In total, these two modules give a total of 229/270 - 84.8%, which is still an A.

    Hey sorry, isn't 95 a "B"? On there it states 91+ is a B from what I understand?

Oh thanks! Can you please tell me if you think I still have a chance of getting an A*? How much do I need to score in my 3rd vocal unit? I really need an A* for my uni of choice

For an A* you need 80%+ in total, plus 90%+ for your A2 modules. You're well on track for the 80% threshold, but with 91/130 for unit 4 you're not going to be able to get an A* without a remark or retake - you'd need 89 more UMS to give a total of 180/200 from your A2 modules, which isn't possible from the 70 UMS for grade 3.

Thank you, I guess I am going to have to go for a retake. Thanks a lot for your help, yes 95+ if I were to get max on unit 3 of 70 I would still only be in 165 which is 15 short of an A*

    Thanks nevertheless!
