I got my results today, they were good, but in the opposite subjects I needed/expected.

My results were:

Maths A, Human Biology A, Chemistry B, Physics B.

I want to go to one of the better universities and study Chemistry (eg. York or Bath)
Though these require an A in Chemistry at A2 (Which I can easily get)
will I still be offered a conditional with my B as it is now? I have the entry requirements to get in, just in the wrong subjects.

Also, I'll be dropping human biology next year as I don't really enjoy it.

As long as you present yourself as a good candidate and have a strong personal statement, I shouldn't see why you wouldn't get in. I pulled my B in AS biology up to an A* this year so it is very achievable. I would advise a few resits just to make sure but not too many as to add a huge workload at A2

So long as you get your teachers to predict you the right grades, it should be no problem

Not to toot my own horn, but statistically, I am the best chemistry student in year 12, and one of their favorite students, I was really expecting to get an A in this exam, but I guess I just had a brain fart. I did about 6-7 past papers for the exam and got 95+% each time, so if a teacher's influence is that strong I think I'll be fine :P
