Hello, I have just graduated from the University of Surrey studying International Hospitality Management and was wondering if it is possible to become a teacher, in particular at primary schools? I understand that you need a degree to teach, however I'm not sure if my degree is relevant? Thanks!

I know after doing a degree you can go onto do a pgce (which is a year long i think) that means you can then teach.
Im not sure how you would stand with your degree being in hospitality, but hopefully someone else can spread some light on that.

If you want to teach hospitality then yeah, i think that would be fine.
Im just not 100% sure on teaching anything else. I think you would be fine though. The OP said they wanted to do primary school teaching though so i dont know if that would be different.

Oops. Missed that. As long as the op does the qualification though it should be fine

For Primary school you'll have to do a PGCE, but you'll have to do a few weeks work experience first probably to get onto it. There are other qualification options but I don't know what they're called - a PGCE is the most common way, 1 year long.
