I'm a bit disappointed with my AS results (BBC). I only sat three. I'm thinking about asking for remarks for the two Bs as I was one and two UMS off an A. However, if that doesnt work and I resit any of them, and I do worse in the resit, can I choose which one to use towards an A level, or do I need to use the most recent, even if its worsen ? Thanks. I'm not at school so there isn't anyone I can ask about this - I'm in Scotland but I'm home educated so I've been doing AS levels as a private candidate in England.

If you re-sit at A level then the better/best mark you get is always the one that counts.

Yes, you can. The best mark is always used.
