    Hi everyone

My firm choice for uni was Computer Science at QUB which required higher grade boundaries than what I received today... However, it still says that they are considering my application.

My insurance choice though, at Ulster, has given me an unconditional offer. I know that I can't just accept this offer until my firm has made a decision, but QUB's website says that it may take until next Thursday before I hear from them.

Just wondering if anyone knows if the unconditional offers have an expiry date? As I don't want to risk being left with no offer or uni place!

    Thanks for reading

Hiya I rung up QUB today as i had an offer for one subject but was on the waiting list for another so was unsure whether to accept the offer i already had or wait. The girl i was on the phone to said there was no time limit to accept the unconditional offer as long as you did so before the course starts. It may be different for UU though? I'd ring up and ask for advice.

Hope everything works out for you!

If you have an unconditional from your insurance, then it won't "expire". However, you should definately ring up QUB and talk to them. You may be able to persaude them to take you on the course, or at least get them to update track a bit faster. If you speak to someone in person, you are more likely to know where you stand.

Thanks for the advice guys I rang up Queen's and they told me the UUJ unconditional won't expire, they couldn't speed up my application but they told me it would definitely be made by next Thursday, so it's just a waiting game now!

Congrats on the offer LaydurrDude!
