Hi, I'm having a big issue with my results. I've studied a BTEC course and have received D*D*D* but I went to collect my certificate today and they have said they don't have the certificates due to some mix up with one of the units and it will take around 2 weeks for the grades to come in, however the university I have chosen said they need the results by the end of the week or I may not have my place, I've informed them of the situation but I just get the same answer. What do I do?

You should be able to ask them to honour the place until the 31st, which is what UCAS recommends they do. It is down to them at the end of the day but I would have thought they would honour it till the 31st given the circumstances.

If you can think of any way to hurry the process then that would be great, but other than persuade the uni to wait there isn't a whole lot for you to do at the moment
