    Hi
I got CDD and a 'U' for my AS levels.I wasn't predicted that and it took me aback when i first saw these results.Well, whats done is done and i cant change anything.I'll probably take a gap year and repeat these exams next summer during retakes. Any advice for applying to university? can i still apply to top uni's if im taking a gap year and willing to work hard and get back on track? Is this all possible in the long run? please help!

Yes you can still apply to top unis, but non with "no re-sit" policies ( for obvious reasons), although the no re-sit policies can vary even from course to course. As for advice, i'm not sure what you mean ? from a purely arbitrary perspective, my advice would be to get some relevant work experience done in that gap year along with your studying. That will help a lot, even if it's just a saturday thing throughout the year.
