    Hi,

I'm a PG student, struggling to find accommodation/make up my mind on where is best to live. I'd like to live with students from the university of Bristol. I was wondering where most UK students tend to live - in terms of private halls?

    Thanks!

Hey, are you looking for shared accommodation in a house or a hall of residence? A lot of international students choose to live in The Hawthorns, which is right next to the university, but if you'd like nice surroundings I'd recommend looking at one of the Clifton halls - Goldney is particularly good and is self catering

Because I'm new to bristol and don't know anyone else in the city - i was thinking about staying in halls as a way to get to know lots of new people. Can anyone apply to live in Goldney? Or do they only take first years? I'll be starting a PhD so would like to be with other post grads.
