I use the NHS couch to 5k+ speed podcast - it is a 16 minute run with a 5 minute jog (155 bpm) followed by 6 60 second intervals (165 bpm) broken up with 60 second intervals at 150 bpm.
I use endomondo to track calories, and based on my height and weight it estimates that I burn around 150 calories doing this. I've heard from various sources that doing intervals actually burns more calories than just running at a constant pace. I don't use a heart rate monitor, but do you think I will burn more than 150 calories doing this workout?
