Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere on one of these forums, but I was just wondering what happens to your repayments in either of the above two scenarios? Or if you weren't making any repayments in the first place due to being in a job that doesn't reach the salary threshold for repayments to start, would the full amounts of each loan be taken directly from your bank account by SFE or does it not work like that?

    Hi there,

In regards to your repayments, if you move abroad you would need to inform the Student Loans Company of this so that they can update the records on your account and can advise you on how your repayments will continue.

In the same regard, we would also need to be informed if a customer is now deceased.

Student Loan Company wouldn't remove loan amounts directly from a customer's bank account unless a direct debit had been set up by the customer themselves.

    Thanks,
