    Hey,

Just wanted to know whether I can still be considered for a top universtiy if I've achieved:
    A in Sociology
    A in Economics
    B in History
    C in English

I am looking to go to a top university for a law degree, perhaps LSE or UCL for the actual degree.

I have dropped english for A2 next year and continuing with all other subjects, and I am planning now to work extra hard to push the A's up to A*s and the B to an A next year.

Do you think, considering the competitive nature of getting a law degree, that I stand a chance? Can someone also confirm that it is reasonable for me to rule out any hopes of oxbridge? And finally, anyone in a similar positiont to me? I'd love to hear what everyone else is doing.

if your history UMS is close then i'm sure it's very possible although Oxbridge may not be the wisest place to apply :nope: But if you do a great PS and work hard for those A2's then you'll have a very good chance at top uni's

It's possible to achieve an A* even if you have a B at AS. Whether you'll obtain that is up to you. Try to get top predictions for economics.

Surely this can't be true? From a B to an A*? If this is true I'll be extremely happy, as I am planning to give my all next year.

I just hope dropping English was not a mistake
