So Basically I've got my AS results and I know to many people on here they will not seem amazing but I'm happy with them I got:

    A- Geography
    A - Geology
    C- Maths
    D - Physics

(I want to do Geology at university)

Now basically my question is how many exams is it sensible to retake because in one of my geography module's I actually got a C so if I could push that up to an A it would be a really really big help. The other two modules I want to take are maths C1 and C2 because well to be honest I am shocked I managed to scrape a C in those (got an A in stats ) because to put it bluntly the exam when pretty c***. Basically I can be a bit bad with dealing with stress so I had a panic attack mid exam, i guess I could have got 'special credit' or something but i was not in exactly a stable emotional state at the end of that one XD. As for physics well I've been battling all year with it, I did all the revision and I really thought that things had gone ok, so this is the one I'm not happy about because I'd truly thought I'd get a B/C but oh well we can't have everything :P.

So yes do you think I'd be ok resitting three exams and still have a decent chance of getting AAB-ABB (I'm dropping physics now I think)

PS: Sorry for the long post

Talk to your teachers, the worry with resits (now they have to be in June and not January) is that you will be spreading yourself too thin and won't do as well in your A2 exams if you are resitting too many AS units. Look closely at your UMS marks for your AS and what UMS you need overall for your A Level grade.
