    Hello Everyone,

I received my AS Results today and I got EEA for chem, bio and german.
i am absolutely gutted because i tried my BEST and dont know what to do...

is it better to retake the year or go to A2 and retake modules the best option? i want to study biomedicine in uni and hopefully get into research with stem cells or become a chemistry teacher.

i need advise and i would appreciate to read various opinions.

    Thank you:flower:

    Firstly :hugs:

Secondly, if you are going to retake in your A2 year you have to remember that you would have to do exams all in June as there are no January exams. If you retook the year it would however give you a chance to really see what concepts you didn't fully understand and make sure that you can really get them the second time round

are you sure biochem is the right course for you? you seem better suited to a language degree, with a career as a translator or language teacher. are you part german btw or do you just naturally excel in the subject?

the best thing you could do now is continue your AS German to A2 and retake the entire AS level for Chem and Bio. and pick up another AS in something that interests you

I did this and ended up with AAB with A in A2 bio, and AB in AS chem and math.

message me if you want some help with bio or chem

    Thank you for responding!!!

I was born in Germany and came to the UK when is 5 so i hardly know any german lol...
I decided to carry on with German as A2 and do AS Bio, AS Chem and AS Economics, Thank you Table dust You just made me feel better and also proved that it is possible!

The problem however is if my college would let me do that...i emailed my tutor and i am iwaiting for my reply, My enrolment is on the 30th but i cannot wait that long...this is soo stressful as i am always thinking if i should apply to another college or go to A2. I applied for a college near my house and they emailed me and said that there are no places left for biology and chemistry as they are very popular...
I will go to my college on monday and hopefully i can speak to the principal or head of department.

Thank you for taking time and replying
