I was wondering how i have done sociology AS GCE unit 1 and 2 SCLY1 and have achieved 101A on unit 2 and 068A on unit 1.

I'm pretty certain that the maximum marks you could achieve for unit 2 was 90, so how have i gotten 101 marks ?

Also it doesn't say an overall grade for sociology just for the two units so i was wondering if anyone could clear up the confusion for me ?

Look at below link (its AQA which i an kind of assuming you have done), unit 1 max UMS is 80, unit 2 max UMS in 120.

If your results slip (if you could post a pic it would help) doesn't have a grade overall on a separate line (an uppercase grade) then it suggests your school/college have not made an entry to aggregate your units. Speak to your exams officer.

If you've not done AQA I can find you the correct boards equiv document
