I recieved AABE in AS and I was hoping to apply for economics at university. The E was in chemistry but I was sort of expecting a bad result because my teacher missed topics etc and I hadnt worked hard enough.
How important is the fourth AS grade? should I resit it?
I plan on dropping chemistry and Im not aiming for universities such as LSE/Durham.

Unless your university specifically asks for a fourth AS/A-level, it really means nothing. It's good to have it but you don't need it.

LSE straight economics is really competitive...

    1) they like further maths
    2) they take UMS averages
    3) can you get a* maths?

the extra AS means nothing, infact I know a few people who dropped it after a few weeks and only did three AS's anyway. Nobody looks at it or anything so you should be fine
