I've not long read a few books including Patrick Holford's Optimum Nutrition Bible and The Low GL Diet Bible.
I'm by no means overweight and occasionally go to the gym but feel I need a kickstart to getting fit. I've read the above books and they were really interesting and backed up with a lot of scientific evidence / studies. I've started taking certain supplements on a morning and night (morning: multi vit / mineral, 1000mg vitamin C, omega-3, omega-6, 30mg coenzyme-Q10... night: multi vit/ mineral, 1000mg vitamin C, 30mg coenzyme-Q10) and I feel so much for full of energy and have epically better skin (don't even have to moisturise!)
So after achieving these results from this alone I'm intregued about starting the low GL holford diet. Has anybody had any experiences on this diet? How did you find it?
